We knew Janice as a former neighbour and friend.it was a family joke that she would go to the corner shop for some milk say,then return later for something else and possibly again .I wonder if it was just an excuse to chat to someone!

Her last few years were difficult with arthritis and then cancer. She appreciated the care from nurses and carers and liked to tell them that she used to be onebut only to put them at their ease and talk about it.

My first task when visiting was to put on the kettle,even if she had an unfinished cup.

She always was interested in my family and mutual friends and I will miss her greatly.

Her Christian love was shown in her caring.
