I knew Janice through Camden Road Baptist Church where, as children, we were together in the Girl's Life Brigade and the church choir. We both had a knack of seeing the funny side of things and this remained with her. Later on, I remember Arthur coming to the church and as their relationship blossomed they became married at the church. Subsequently came the happy arrival of Wendy and then later, Sean. Janice like most mums talked a lot about her children. Janice was always interested in people and showed a real concern for them. She had a keen sense of intuition which in turn gave understanding of people's situations and difficulties. She was a good friend to have. It was very sad to see her deteriorate the way she did but she fought the battle well and now is at peace.
